Symphonic Band
The Symphonic Band went to Sebastian River High School today to compete in the Florida Bandmasters Association Concert Assessment. The pieces we performed included: National Emblem March, Dedicatory Overture, and Southwest Saga.
After our concert assessment, we then went on to the sight-reading room to play two pieces of music that we have never seen, and judged on our ability to play them accurately and musically. Also in this room our student conductor has the opportunity to be evaluated as well.
Our ratings were:Concert Assessment - Excellent
Sight Reading - Superior
Student Conductor - Superior

Winter Drumline / Winterguard
The Winter Drumline and the Winterguard went to Chamberlain High School today to compete in a Florida Federation of Colorguards Circut competition. After a two hour bus ride, the guard performed giving a passionate performance with the drumline cheering on from the audience. Afterward, the percussion then went on to thrill the audience as well as the judges.
The guard took 12th place with a score of 49.3
The percussion took 9th place with a score of 71.1
